By offering my students higher quality materials, I hope to keep them engaged and open to learning new skills each day. The children would love to be able to have a quality dramatic play shelf for dress up cloths. I would love to provide to them a variety of Reggio inspired, open ended materials to play with that will be thought provoking and unconventional. I would love for them to have a Reggio inspired writing zone with the letters of the alphabet beautiful displayed on slices of wood and natural writing materials. The children will be able to explore building castles with blocks that have a variety of shapes. My goal is to implement Reggio inspired materials in ways that the children will gain the most understanding from. Quantity goes far with the concept of loose parts play. Ensuring that the children will have access to materials is crucial in the construction and deconstruction of their loose parts creations.
