This project is based on the research that supports play in the classroom for brain development. With these supplies I will create tubs that will promote a soft start to ease my students into the day. Morning tubs are a hands-on alternative to morning work that increases fine motor skills, promote critical thinking, and create community. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately increase their academic achievement. -Students can use the pattern blocks to help with spatial reasoning. -Magnetic tiles and Legos will help them create imaginary lands to feature in their writing. -Etch-a-sketch drawing toys and magnetic doodle boards help grow their fine motor skills. -They will be given opportunities to practice problem solving skills and cooperation while creating community.
