I teach 57 third grade students Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Writing. Our school is low-income, so there are students who do not have all the needed materials. I engage my students with hands-on materials like interactive notebooks. We work science experiments in the classroom and record our results in notebooks. We use interactive notebooks with writers workshop. My students are very engaged when they are able to use their hands and interact with different materials. These materials will be very beneficial for our interactive notebooks this year. With these supplies, my students will be more engaged and have a better understanding of what we are learning.
