The materials that I have chosen for my project will help ensure every student in my class is a successful reader. The new leveled readers that I requested will be added to my classroom library. I have already bought a rolling cart and the new leveled readers will be placed in it. My 3rd grade students will be so excited to sit on the floor and lean back on the comfortable chairs while reading on the rug! I have the perfect spot in front of the student cubbies! While some of the students are independently reading, I will be working in small groups with the reading intervention materials specifically for 3rd grade students. This will help my students that need an extra dose of a specific skill. This project of books, seats and intervention material, will help build a classroom of successful readers--one child at a time.
