I am seeking funds to bring two Chromebooks into our classroom. With these basic learning tools, I will be able to bridge the gap between what the students need and what they lack in their homes. My students will be able to access websites such as Study Island, I-Ready, Prodigy, IXL, and many others. Chromebooks would help students who are kinesthetic and visual learners. It would open the doors of knowledge and individualize their unique learning experiences. The Chromebooks will become indispensable tools that will help create more authentic learning experiences in the classroom, as well as build the 21st-century skills that our children need in order to be successful in our quickly evolving technological world. My students would be able to work in centers with the Chromebooks, working on writing, reading, and so much more. A whole new world of learning will open up for them. As they create both independent and collaborative projects, I will be able to monitor their progress in understanding each new concept. They will have the tools they need to excel and feel confident in what they produce.
