The students in the RAMS program are returning to a school environment after a prolonged absence due to mental health or medical crisis. Providing tools, preferential or alternative seating options, and reinforcement and self-regulatory activities can help ease this transition and make a bridge program, like RAMS a safe spot to land for these students who have struggled with these transitions. In contributing to providing these items to the program, students will be provided with tools to help them accomplish their academic and socio-emotional goals so that they may swiftly and successfully transition back into the general education setting and continue on a path to successful completion of their secondary education.
