The games, that I've selected, will help students develop problem solving strategies, friendships, conflict resolution, and collaboration. These games will not only be used in my classroom specifically, but will also be utilized by students across the entire elementary school. By helping me purchase these games, many students will benefit. Students will have opportunities to play different games with different peers on a rotation basis. "Game Days" are reserved during the school year to ensure students have this experience. After playing different games, they will then define what a game is, what a game needs in order to be considered fun, and they will create their own game.
