A grill will help our students by giving them the opportunity to focus on their education instead of worrying about how they or their parents will pay for prom, senior items, such as senior pictures, invitations, class memorabilia and higher education scholarships. We are a high risk district with many low income families. We work very hard to help our students have the things they need in our school and the small things many of us take for granted. The extra costs students face each year, and especially those during their senior and junior years is an extra burden so many families face. Many of our families struggle to pay for their needs, but when you add the extra costs that school brings it can be to much to beat. We want to make sure all of our students have a memorable school experience. That entails all things that come with going to school and sharing the experience with their peers. Our students rely on the extra money concessions affords them, and they earn every dollar by working hard at concessions so they do not place a financial burden on their families. Please help our children have a wonderful high school experience.
