Kindergarten students are taught to read during school. We teach students using centers where the students are grouped together in a manner to allow them to reach their full potential as readers in kindergarten. We do not have a place for the students to sit comfortably to curl up with a great book. I would like to have a change of setting for the students to read at to make it more motivating for them to find a book a read. I would also utilize the flex seating during our Math, Science and Social Studies times since the furniture is easy to move around the class.
