There have been multiple studies which have shown that learning an instrument and how to read music helps kids become better readers, increases their vocabulary, and develops their creative process. By incorporating daily piano lessons into the classroom, I will help my students stretch their brains and also develop better self-confidence by learning new skills. My students do not currently have any access to music supplies or music class. These instruments will give our students the opportunity to learn the basics of reading music and piano skills in their class on a daily basis. They are very excited to have keyboards in their classrooms.
