I want to use a variety of learning strategies in my classroom. I have my students sitting in pods so they can collaborate and really discuss the content. I value discussing and working together but at times, they need to do independent work...sometimes to process the content before talking with others and sometimes to test the individual student's knowledge. Moving the desks back and forth takes time away from the learning process. These privacy shields will help me to hit a variety of learning styles as well as being able to assess individual students during a class period without wasting time rearranging furniture.
