Students will learn first-hand the power of positive self-talk and growth-mindset language. Turning our struggles into "not yet" language is a very profound tool. When we say to ourselves, "I have not yet learned how to do multiplication facts," that is very different from saying "I am bad at math." When we write our own stories, we get an opportunity to define what we think is true about us. We can then set this as our intention for moving forward in a positive way in our lives. Our beliefs can become our reality. We have the chance to do some special classes this year that will build on themselves. In this class, the students will work with me all year on self-exploration, self-reflection, intuition, insight, and self-awareness. These journals will provide a place for students to explore, create, design, and then ultimately publish their stories. Thank you so much for your support!
