Our current classroom library is very limited. As our students only visit the public library a couple times a month, we want to provide them with a variety of excellent books, always available to them. Access to books during childhood is one of the biggest indicators for future academic success. Let's supplement the selection of books that our students have access to in their homes with a vivacious collection they can take advantage of while in their learning environment. Our students are given time to read every day, while at school, and are instructed to always have a book with them as they travel through their daily schedules. In addition to this, they are encouraged to read at home regularly. This is because we know the vital importance of reading in the development of our students' critical thinking and communication skills. The more books we have on hand, and the better the quality of the books, the more prepared our scholars will be to navigate their academics, careers, and personal lives.
