My children are a loving bunch but can find themselves bored without the proper motivation. The goal of this project is to provide my students with incentives that they choose. We actually had a discussion today about what I can do to help them stay on track. The students requested food, and after further discussions, they actually voted on the specific things they want as incentives including chips and fruit snacks. We turned it into a bar graph and made a whole lesson out of it. Now I am very excited about being able to provide them with the incentives they have requested.
