The items I am asking for are staples of what every Physical Education closet should have. Unfortunately after doing inventory, I have found my closet lacking. The items are multi functional and allow for creative play. They can be used by every student who enters the gym whether they are 3 or 93! Beanbags can be used for tossing, sliding, overhand throwing. The number of games is limited by imagination. I have used hula hoops in imaginative play as well. Did you know you can use them as horses? or the steering wheel to a race car? Older students can build hula huts and learn to work cooperatively.
