Students feel empowered by having some degree of choice and control over their environment. Flexible and comfortable seating allows students to choose where and how they play and with whom. Some children have a hard time with separation anxiety, especially the diverse group of children that we have the opportunity to serve, when children have a special comfortable and cozy area to go to it is easier for them to self soothe. Please help us make our classroom more home-like for our students so that we can create a family like environment where students feel safe and comfortable at all times.

About my class
