For this project I am looking to receive more equipment that will allow students to be 6 ft apart while being active in my class. I teach in a trailer or in a outside space at an under resourced school. It is difficult to teach multiple sports skills with social distancing built in due to the current equipment I have. One of these sports and skills that I would be able to teach with social distancing and minimal contact would be, racket sports such as badminton. This will also develop the students motor skills, and manipulative skills and enhance their personal and social development. I want my students to still be able to learn the skills that will help them be active for a life time while still being safe during my class. This equipment will help my students be able to continue to be active in PE safely, and learn useful skills to help them be active for a life time. I have requested "Pick-A-Paddle® Institutional Badminton Racquets" to allow each of my students to have their own racquet for badmintion. "Carlton® T800 Yellow Premium Tournament Shuttlecocks" that will allow each student to have their own Shuttle. And "MAC-T® Multi Sport Nets" that will allow students to be separated far enough to be safely active while in my class.
