To quote a bright and inspiring witch, “When in doubt, go to the library.” Hermoine knew that 20 years ago and our students know that now. Libraries are a magical place, where students explore, discover & learn about the magic that the world of reading holds. When our students think magic, they think J.K. Rowling and the amazing world she created through Harry Potter. Our kids have spoken & they are as interested as ever in the wizarding world! Our Harry Potter books have been loved & loved, they have worn covers, disintegrating bindings, and still there is currently a 4 students hold on our 4 copies of book 1. If that isn't magic I don't know what is. The 20 year anniversary seems like the the perfect time for a refresh. I knew we needed a new set of hardback of the original 7 books, but once I started exploring the additional Wizarding World had so much to offer. We are looking to add a full box set of the original Harry Potter Titles, Illustrated version of the books, a Harry Potter Cookbook & a book that features the women of Harry Potter. We are excited about keeping this magic alive in our library.
