This is my first year teaching 2nd grade and I wanted to have materials students could use during indoor recess or free time that can help their mind grow and get students excited about STEM. All of the materials that I requested involve engineering and creativity. I requested a variety of kits to keep the students motivated with a different challenge. I am very curious what the second grade mind can create. This will align with computer science initiatives we are trying to develop in the school. Some of these supplies could also be used by other classrooms and a potential 21st century room in the future.
