In an effort to promote creativity and design in our STEM classroom, we are taking students back in time to learn the art and detail involved in board drafting. Students will get an opportunity to begin at square one as they learn the basics of drafting and design drawing the "old school" way, using paper, pencil, and drafting equipment. Our hope is that this not only improves their abilities to sketch, draw, and appreciate the art of blueprint making, but also gives them a better foundation to build on as they utilize newer technologies such as CAD and 3D printing available in our lab.

About my class
