Instead of having a worksheet at their desk, these materials will allow me to have brain bins at their seats instead. These brain bins will allow my students to play for 15-20 minutes. This will get their brains moving and they will be ready to start the day. These materials allow me to let my kindergarten students explore STEM. I am super excited to get this all started! If you look at the research behind letting kids engage in unstructured inquiry and imaginative play, you will see that there are long term advantages. Because of your generous donation, my students will be able to explore, create and build with their classmates. They will also be able to use their imaginations.
