Physical education is SO important to students overall academic achievement, not to mention their physical health and well being. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, we have very little P.E. equipment for our kids, and almost none of the "basics" like footballs, basketballs, soccer balls and playground balls. This project will get badly needed and upgraded P.E. equipment into the hand, and onto the feet, of our 270 low income, middle school students. They will also be used in our after school sports program, which provides many of our kids the chance to develop their athletic skills, which usually leads to higher academic achievement.

About my class
