The current recording equipment we use in class is insufficient in promoting a high-quality learning experience for the students. Currently, the district has not bought in to purchasing equipment for the class, so we use equipment I've purchased with my own money. I have convinced the building principal to allow us to use a small room behind the library to build a studio, for which we are certainly grateful. But the opportunities to be creative with the equipment we use are limited. Obtaining this equipment would be an excellent way to expand students' learning and to provide a hands-on environment to really enhance their experience. Ultimately, broadcasting the podcast episodes should serve as a medium to help promote unity within our building and community.
