The Chromebook will allow an additional pair of students to research online information about Wilson Bentley's contributions to the scientific understanding of ice crystals. It will also provide access to a website which features his amazing photographs of snowflakes. Opportunities to conduct online research, coupled with the hands-on investigations of solids, liquids, and gases will provide meaningful opportunities for all my students to learn across the curriculum . Students will gain the skills necessary to conduct authentic online research as they explore their environment. These activities will foster a greater appreciation of the world of nature and the contributions of others. My students will begin to understand basic scientific principles. Funding this project will facilitate this process and prove invaluable to the future aspirations of my students.
