Students will use the tablets daily in centers teaching them English and helping struggling readers learn to read thru different apps. Students will learn English thru listening to audio books that I download, and by playing literacy games thru apps like abc mouse, starfall, and PBS. Our school is a Title1 school and we have very limited funds for technology. Ny offering my students a chance to learn thru technology it will boost their engagement and make learning fun for them. It it also help improve their focus and engagement thru doing work on the tablet which they think is fun, but they are learning in the process. Many of my students don’t have tablets at home so offering them a chance to learn on one would really help keep them engaged.
