Many of our students are yearning to learn more about the English language. My class is represented by mostly ESOL students. These students are learning English as their 2nd language. Many of them have been working hard to adapt to speaking and listening to English on a daily basis. The area that most of them struggle with is writing. It is difficult to get your thoughts across when writing. With these dictionaries, my students will use them to help with spelling, grammar and expression. Dictionaries are so important to have in classrooms. Unfortunately, we do not have any that are on the level of our students most represented. Often we use digital resources. However, I believe my students will best benefit from being able to manipulate the physical items.
