STEM applies science, technology, engineering, and mathematics using real world experiences. It is very hands on and encourages students to be people solvers. STEM increases student engagement and creativity. Students can be given a specific challenge or given materials to design their own creation. Students who may not be active learners in reading can sit down with a STEM project and exceed expectations. My goal as an educator is to do less worksheets and provide more meaningful experiences. STEM is the way of the future and students need to be able to apply those concepts in college and future careers.

About my class
