The materials that I am requesting will help my students to become well versed in the scientific process. They will learn how scientist solve problems and explore the scientific process. My students will be able to explore through hands on experiences. Exploring through hands on experiments and projects will aid my students in understanding the second grade science standards. Students will be able to retain the knowledge that they have gained and use it going into more complicated scientific topics. These materials will also encourage all students to have a love for science. My students are at an age where they need to see that everyone is able to be a scientist.
