The author will be reading her book, "The Grand Circus/Gran Circo", teaching the students how to write numbers correctly, using animals in her interactive presentation. Minia Lopez shares her experience of being an immigrant from Spain, growing up in a Spanish-speaking country, coming to the United States as a teacher and following her dream to become an author. She inspires the youngest of our students to dream big. The real life experience of having an author come to present to our Pre-K and Kindergarten students is something they will never forget. This is an opportunity that would be so valuable for our students.

About my class
