My students have opted in for a face to the face learning experience, which means that this year will look a lot different for them. Sharing will not be acceptable so students need to all have their own set of supplies to help them learn and retain knowledge. with 90% of my students receiving free or reduced lunch all I want them to focus on is getting into the classroom. A high number of my students have a kinesthetic learning style which means that they need to do more hands-on activities. With Covid-19 in the mist, these students don't need to suffer due to lack of enough supplies. I will need more manipulatives that can be magnetized for all students to see as opposed to table sharing. Also, This is my second year out of college and into teaching. That being said just to note why I do not have a lot of the manipulatives that teacher accrues over the years. I have a teacher that has been sharing their supplies with my students but that will not be able to happen this year. With these supplies, my student will be able to focus on social distancing without the pressures of having to share.
