Help me fund my project for my 3/4 classroom. Time for Kids will enable me to incorporate relevant current events into morning work, as well as a research paper that they will work on throughout the year. Kids love reading the magazines and they are an incredibly engaging way to get students reading. With your support, my students will be able to enjoy reading current events while sitting in comfort on home-made stools in a special reading area. The stools need cushions for the tops, and I plan to have a modular area where I teach small group and conduct special teacher luncheons using this seating. These stools will also allow me to host guided reading groups, leveled math groups, and hands-on science demo's. In addition, I am creating a classroom visual management board for my for students. This homemade​ board is in need of a battery-powered light switch to allow easy visualization of students out of the classroom. This will allow me to track student check-ins, manage the classroom more efficiently, and keep students safe at all times. Lastly, our classroom is in desperate need of a new pencil sharpener and a few new sets of headphones. We use a program on chrome-books every day in the classroom to read, and I currently don't have enough pairs of headphones to accommodate the students.
