My classroom has tables. Using tables instead of desks allows my students to spread out and collaborate more readily in pairs and small groups, so a place to store their materials nearby is critical. Seat sacks keep each student's supplies neatly organized and readily available. They can carry supplies to wherever they are working by simply bringing their chairs along, and they can clear table space for others by storing their things in the seat sack. This allows for maximum flexibility in the classroom. Having supplies in one place and ready to go will help my students overcome organizational challenges and be even more successful!
