I believe through the use of an iPad and available ELA apps such iReady, I can find productive ways to help reduce reading gaps with my students. Recognizing and addressing individual student levels are crucial parts of any classroom. Last year in an attempt to help parents, our school set up an iPad website (iReady) to help continue learning at home. My plan would be to utilize these apps from iReady with our classroom iPad to help reduce learning gaps in my most struggling learners. Another plan lies in combining technology resources for group lessons. As I research, I am finding wonderful possibilities of using one in my classroom. I know with an iPad, it would increase ways for me to reach my students using interactive apps in centers and during whole group activities. Without a doubt, my students and I would be appreciative of your help in having our own classroom tablet. Would you please consider helping us?
