My speech and language students make gains each and every day they attend therapy. Whether they are increasing their verbal or nonverbal communication skills or comprehension skills, we are working on helping them have the communication skills they need in order to access their curriculum and school environments. My nonverbal students deserve a device that allows them to communicate their wants and preferences with other staff members. This can be attained through the use of a Go Talk 4+. Since my students with speech and language needs, they can benefit from a variety of options to help them communicate, this device and its case would be ideal, since it is a portable device that can travel with them throughout the school building. The bean bag would allow me to create a calming space for my kiddos to learn how to use the device since many do not like sitting in traditional hard chairs. All 3 of these items would allow me to provide the most effective therapy for students each and every session.
