Technology is a vital part of our society today. I want to teaching my students to interact with it responsibly and use it to their benefit. Chromebooks would allow multiple student to access our research based computer intervention programs. Currently my classroom has one desktop computer. The Chromebooks would allow for more access to educational programs, such as, Lexia and MobyMax to reinforce basic skills and strengthen all academic areas. These programs meet the student at their current level and helps them progress to were they need to be. More exposure will help improve my students performance scores during achievement testing.
