Our school plans to make mental health a priority this October. To get the students involved, we plan to make green awareness ribbons that the staff and faculty will wear throughout the month. We will also give prizes to students that are practicing healthy coping skills, and prizes will include fidgets and such that can be used to self-soothe as needed. This will help us to normalize mental health matters for the children, as well as make these issues more approachable, and even fun, for them. This is something that has never been more important for children moving forward. Thanks ahead of time for your help.
