Providing valve/slide oil, slide grease, and clarinet reeds will really help offset costs for families that are already adding a monthly fee to their budget to rent or buy their instrument. The percussionists in my classroom last year had no experience with bell kits. There are no bell kits in my classroom and having a few will greatly impact a student that chooses percussion to play during their 6th-grade year. Since last year percussionists did not have bell kits to play, they all learned snare drum technique without learning the bell half of the book. Having ten recorders in my classroom will allow students that don't purchase their own to be able to participate in class when they wouldn't have been able to last year.
