In my Science classroom, we have beautiful lifelike pictures and short film clips to view almost daily on our Promethean Board (whiteboard). Because of the place where our Promethean Board is located, many of the students cannot see the board and they have to come closer to the board. They have to sit on the cold floor, which is often a little dirty at the end of the day for my later classes. Some students pretend they can already see the board, because they don't want to sit on the floor. I would love to have a classroom carpet to have them sit in comfort as they explore the wonders of our world. It would also help to keep their uniforms cleaner, because most of my students wear their uniforms several days before they are able to wash them.
