Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. Utilizing small comfortable group settings will offer something special to my students....special to the "Crowleywood" classroom! Giving students choices such as seating on the floor, bean bag chairs, or traditional desks offers a flexible environment and enables them to take ownership of their learning. I want my students to think it is a treat to come to math intervention where they will get an experience that others don't. The products I have selected will help my students by giving them non-traditional seating options, so they feel excited about math. Many of my students are economically disadvantaged, and I want to create a safe, welcoming environment for them. Because my students are struggling in math, I want to do everything in my power to change how they feel about math intervention and give them the comfort and confidence they deserve.
