Drone piloting, practicing, and researching is the emphasis for our drone project. The materials will make a huge difference in student learning because it will place the future, literally, in the hands of our youngest students and give them a jump on learning more about this exciting new technology. After completing a full unit learning about drones and their uses, the students will practice flying the drones in the safety of a drone cage at school. Placing practice drones and drone research material in the hands of our youngest learners during this drone mini unit will support and build a foundation of drone technology and hopefully inspire future designers, drone pilots, and business leaders of tomorrow!
