Working on gross motor skills helps a child gain strength and confidence in his/her body. It also helps them get exercise and physical activity, which is important for a healthy lifestyle. Developing these skills helps a child's ability to do more complex skills in the future. By donating to our project, you would not only be helping a child gain physical strength, but also imagination, intelligence and language. Indoor play for a preschooler is fun and an adventure when outside play is not possible. The gross motor equipment will be used in our classroom when the conditions to go outside are not appropriate. The equipment will be stored in a pre-k storage closet. Children will play bowling, hopscotch, ring toss, balancing, and bouncing. We currently do not have any indoor equipment so donating to our project would greatly be appreciated.

About my class
