Each day my students practice reading, writing, and spelling words in a word work station. I try to provide various activities like rainbow writing, playdoh spelling, and so on. These materials would give students another means by which to practice their words. I plan to let students spell their spelling words on these boards and then use dry erase markers to spell the words. I think my students would enjoy this other option to practice learning the correct spelling of their words. I also have several little girls in my class that like to play teacher. My using these magnetic easels, my girls will be able to spell their words and "quiz" other students on them.
