As an art teacher, students come to me with a variety of attitudes about art. Some students are nervous, scared, or worried about messing up. Other students are so eager I can see it in their faces. Giving students an emotional outlet for their feelings, emotions, and attitudes will allow them to focus on art. Art can be a great outlet for students! Many students at my school come from traumatic backgrounds and unsettled home lives. By teaching them art, I give them a way to express themselves. I want students to realize technology can be used for more than just social media. They can use it to paint, draw, and express their creativity and emotions. Stylists will be used as their "paintbrush" to express this creativity. They will use these on digital pads to create their masterpieces. Please help us reach our goal so that our students will have their masterpieces in a digital form in our digital world.
