As our program continues to grow, students need more music stands to place their music on. If we don't have enough then students will have to share. This causes bad posture and instrument sitting position as they lean over each other to try to see what they are playing. Music stands also help our concerts look more uniform. We can sound our best but when distracting views such as different color folding music stands are placed throughout the ensemble it distracts from our concert. Folding music stands are also flimsy and tend to fall over easy which is distracting to audience members and embarrassing to performers.
