We will use the rug to meet together in a large group for all subject areas. This is typically where introductory lessons and mini lessons will be taught. To improve social and emotional growth of our students, we have a morning chat each day to greet one another, share, and discuss the days events. This benefits all the students to create a positive classroom community. Students will further benefit from the rug when they break into small cooperative groups. They will really enjoy being able to read in a cozy area during independent reading as well! Thank you for helping our classroom become a comfortable environment to learn. We are grateful for your generosity!

About my class
