Students will use this area to read accelerated reader books, as well as use dry erase boards and markers to write out the central ideas of the stories and themes they discover. The students will have bean bag chairs in this area and share stories with one another. Students will be able to absorb themselves into bean bag chairs and new adventures that will jump off the page at them. Students will use this area to escape reality, while also building their literacy skills. I want my students to feel safe, relaxed, and open their minds to new adventures and new ideas brought to them in their reading.

About my class
