I am teaching my students to love reading! I want to provide them with their own book bags to shop in my classroom library and keep them at their desk as well as take them home. Kindergarten students have a hard time sitting still, especially when reading, so I plan to create a fun, inviting, and friendly atmosphere filled with flexible seating in my classroom to keep them engaged. Every child has a natural passion for books. They all love to explore their abilities to read and that is why the phonics cards and games will help me introduce reading in multiple forms to reach and meet each student’s needs. Please help me instill a passion for reading in each and every student that walks in my classroom!
