These books will be read over and over by my first graders because they will be their very own. Many of my students do not have any children's books in their homes, and are so very excited about the books in our classroom. I cannot wait to get these beautiful books into their eager little hands! I believe having high-quality children's books to take home and keep will help my students maintain the love of books that they already seem to have. I'm also hopeful it will encourage their caregivers to spend some quality time reading with their little ones.
