The materials I have chosen will allow my kindergarten students to interact with content (math&reading) in a fun and innovative way within a safe and organized environment. In kindergarten, students will be learning to count to 100 by ones and tens. With the help of these materials students will be able to count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1) and so much more! The additional materials (fun colourful stools) will help me create a reading center and the bins will allow me to keep our classroom books organized all year long! All in all, my project consists of gathering materials that allow learning to be interactive and engaging; with these materials I hope to surpass the ability to give content meaning.
