The middle school football program develops character and leadership skills. Our belief is that every child should get to be a part of our team if they choose. We do not want to have to exclude any child because of limited necessary safety equipment. Football helmets have expiration dates. Unfortunately, we have 10 that expired this year. We do not cut middle school football players and the program must raise 100 percent of its funding. In order for us to keep every child that wants to play, we must raise the funds to ensure we have the necessary equipment. As stated previously, we have many parents that are not able to contribute monetarily to the program. These required items are very expensive, and we pursue every available opportunity to raise funds to provide for replacement. As a contributor to this opportunity, know you are making a tremendous difference in the life of a child by providing them the protection and opportunity to develop character in a team environment learning how to win with humility and suffer loss as teammates with dignity.
